Mothers Day at the Shack

In the spirit of sharing with your family on Mothers Day we have come up with a sharing menu to celebrate with your parents, children, aunties, uncle's and siblings.

Following a welcome glass of Sparking and two Oysters each, starters will be a choice of Bouillabaisse with Mussels and Smoked Red Mullet, Smoked Haddock or Brown Crab Soufflé, an Empanada or a good old Bacalau Fishcake with our salad, Salsa Verde and Aioli. 

Moving on to the main course we have five options which will be served on a platter to share for two, three or four people with a variety of grilled and wood roasted vegetables including Hispi Cabbage, Wood Oven Roast Potatoes, Charred Leeks, Baby Carrots and Fava Beans which will be served around your main fish or meat soaking up all the sauce like the best Sunday Roast. 

Whole Turbot served with a Turbot Head Gravy 

Whole Roast Prosciutto wrapped Monkfish Tail served with Braised Beans, Gremolata and Crispy Monkfish Cheeks 

Halibut Chop served with Bordelaise Sauce, Roast Lyonnaise Roscoff Onions, Beef Fat Pomme Anna and Wild Leeks 

Hepple Wilds Venison Loin served pink alongside a Venison Shoulder Hot Pot cooked in Stout and Port with Pickled Walnuts.

Bone-In 28 day, Dry Aged, Rare Breed Beef Rib cooked slowly over fire with natural cooking juices.
