FAQS
How will it work upon arrival?
Head to the bottom of the ramp and one of out team will direct you to your table or seats.
Fire Pits are an optional extra priced at £15.
If you are coming along as a family and you feel you don’t require deckchairs for the entire group ie. for the children. You are of course more than welcome to bring along some blankets.
How much will it cost?
Our prices range from £8 - £14 for a small dish with larger dishes upwards of £18.
We will also be selling blankets to keep you warm or to sit on should you wish at a price of £8 each.
We prefer not to take cash.
Allergies
Unfortunately we’re unable to accommodate guests with Fish / Shellfish allergies. Our menu items come into contact with Fish, Shellfish and may also contain traces of gluten and nuts.
Although we do take special care to protect you from consuming food that you may be allergic to, our kitchen is too small to adequately protect from cross-contamination, especially with Fish and Shellfish.
If you have any other allergies, please inform us by email bookings@rileysfishshack.com
Non-fish eaters
Subject to availability (like with all our dishes) we have steak/veggie/vegan options available. Please ask the front of house team when ordering.
What happens if it’s bad weather?
From April to September we offer a parasol and wind break on each table. We also have fire pits and blankets to order on the day as additional purchases.
We advise our guests check the weather forecast 48 hours prior to their booking. If the weather isn’t looking as you wish, you will still have time to reschedule or cancel without being charged..
Can I turn up without making a booking?
Alongside bookings we have some seats which we keep free for walk-in customers. When the kitchen has capacity we also accept takeaways.
Can I bring my dog(s)?
Please be aware that dogs aren’t permitted on the beach (sand) from 1st May to 30th September every year however but you can sit with them on the balcony or inside the Fish Shack year-round.
